BotaniCare is a mobile app concept designed to simplify indoor plant care through personalized guidance and intuitive tools. The project focuses on helping users better understand the needs of their plants by combining care tips, customized watering schedules, and clear visual feedback in one easy-to-use interface. BotaniCare was created as a portfolio research project to explore how digital products can support everyday routines and encourage healthier relationships between people and their living spaces.

Caring for indoor plants can be overwhelming, especially for users who lack experience or knowledge about plant-specific needs such as watering frequency, lighting conditions, and general maintenance. As a result, plants often suffer from improper care, leading to poor growth or loss. The main challenge was to design an app that translates complex plant care information into simple, actionable steps. The interface needed to feel friendly and non-intimidating while still providing enough guidance to help users make confident decisions about their plants’ well-being.

The final BotaniCare concept presents a calm and intuitive mobile experience that guides users through plant care in a clear and approachable way.
